Network drives are mapped automatically as you  log in. So if you don't see the drives the first thing to do would be to log off and try logging again.


If you do need to Map or Remap a Network Drive, here's how to in (Windows 11)


To Map - Remap any RGU Network drives (O - H - S) etc, for Windows


You can also follow these steps for the Drive your are needing to access (drive path examples listed  below)


H:)  \\wfs-support-h.rgu.ac.uk\support-h\staff\StaffID


O:)  \\wfs-o-data.rgu.ac.uk\O-Drive


S:)  \\wfs-s-data.rgu.ac.uk\Shared


R:) \\wfs-r-data.rgu.ac.uk\R-Drive


Then from the Start menu, search File Explorer, or Open File Explorer from the taskbar or alternatively press the Windows logo key + E. Then select This PC from the left pane.


(1): Select This PC from the left pane.


(2): On the File Explorer ribbon bar, choose See More (...) 


(3):Map network drive. (If you don’t see this option, right-click the This PC icon in the folder pane). 


In the Drive list, select the drive letter (for your Network Drive).




To connect every time you sign in to your PC, select Reconnect at sign-in.


Click Finish.


If you encounter issues connecting to a network drive or folder, ensure you’re connected to the network or VPN. (Verify your Network connection)


Confirm that you have the correct permissions to access the network drives, Reach out to your IT and Digital Teams if needed.


Remember, a stable connection and proper permissions are essential for successful network drive access, * A change in Job role or Position can disrupt your access and permissions.
