MyRGU App troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with the MyRGU app, you can still access your emails by visiting outlook.office.com.
Additionally, check your timetables at timetables.rgu.ac.uk (sign in at the top right), and access course materials via campusmoodle.rgu.ac.uk.
For troubleshooting MyRGU problems, consider the following steps.

Android:
- Update Your Phone: Make sure your Android phone is fully updated by downloading the latest updates. Refer to your phone’s online guides if you’re unsure how to update.
- Restart Your Phone: Try restarting your phone completely.
- Reinstall the App: If the issue persists, uninstall the MyRGU app and then reinstall it.
- Clear Application Cache: If reinstalling doesn’t help, clear the app cache (Android only). You can do this in the app settings.
if that fails can you try clearing the application cache (android only)
- Open the Settings of your phone.

Tap the Storage heading to open its settings page.
- If your phone runs Android Oreo or earlier, you'll want to open the App Manager settings page.

- Tap the Other Apps heading to see a list of your installed apps.

Find the application you want to clear the cache of and tap its listing.
- Tap the Clear cache button and the Clear Storage button
If the problem still persists try and think of when the problem started, did you install an app recently that may have caused the issue? if so try removing that app.
If you're still unable to fix the problem please let us know and send details of your phone (make/model) and screenshots of the errors.

2. iPhone:
- Update Your iPhone: Ensure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Restart Your iPhone: Fully restart your iPhone.
- Reinstall the App: If the problem persists, delete the MyRGU app and reinstall it from the App Store.
Here’s a guide to uninstall and reinstall the MyRGU app on your iPhone:
To Uninstall the App:
Locate the app you want to uninstall on your home screen or in your app library, Press and hold the app icon until it starts wiggling.
Tap the “X” sign that appears on the app icon, Confirm the deletion by selecting “Delete.
Reinstall the App:
Open the App Store on your iPhone, Search for “MyRGU".
Tap the cloud icon or the “GET” button next to the app to download and reinstall it.
