Staff and students with an RGU-managed device can install NVivo from their software portal once a license has been assigned to them. RGU devices receive important operating system and security updates as soon as they are available. Additionally, RGU devices are encrypted, which means that if a device is lost or stolen, the encrypted data helps protect its contents from unauthorised access.


  • The latest version of NVivo can be found on the Company Portal, Software Center, and RGU Apps.


  • After clicking Install, an Installing percentage bar will appear within the portal and a pop-up advising NVivo 15 is being downloaded and installed.


  • Once the install has completed the following will show:


  • On opening NVivo you will be prompted to sign in:

  • Log in with your RGU email address and the NVivo portal password you created after receiving your license (you will have received emails from Team NVivo if a license has been assigned).

 

  • After you have signed in the below message will be seen. 


  • Click OK and NVivo will open.
