Connect IGEL OS Creator USB stick to Thin Client and boot device. Upon boot select ‘Standard Installation & Recovery’

Select ‘English’ as language

Under Installation Options make sure to uncheck ‘Migrate Licenses’ then select ‘Install Firmware’

There will be a prompt advising the date on the disk will be destroyed. This is just wiping the existing drive partition to deploy the IGEL OS. Select ‘Install firmware’.

The IGEL OS Creator will run the installation (see below)

Once completed it will advise you have successfully installed the OS and prompt to reboot. Reboot the device.

Once rebooted the IGEL endpoint is ready to be managed. It will pop up with a Welcome! screen, however just click cancel.

Please select ‘LAN’ symbol on the icon tray in the bottom right hand corner of the screen  This will show the various Hardware and network details.

Please take a note of the Terminal Name or Hardware Address, the IP address and where it is physically located on campus (i.e. room number) and pass this information through to the EUC support team to enable management of the newly configured IGEL endpoint.

Once the endpoint has been licensed and configured it will show an RGU Wallpaper as well Citrix and a Display Switch to allow users with multiple displays to adjust accordingly.
