Zoom is currently licenced (Pro Education) for all Staff and Students with the following capacity:
Meetings - 300 Users
Webinar licenses can be procured via IT on an individual basis, and will require a departmental cost code and relevant approval.
There are different Webinar tiers, including 100 participants and 500.
Microsoft Teams is licenced for all University staff and students and has the following limits
Meetings - 1000 Users
Teams Live Events - 10,000 participants
4 hours max
For large scale events Teams Live events should be used. If users want to use Zoom for large scale events they will be required to purchase a licence. We get a small discount but the per user costs are roughly as follows:
